Cutix Plc, one of West Africa’s leading manufacturers of electrical and telecommunications cables, successfully concluded its participation at the 20th Africa International Housing Show (AIHS 2026), held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, from the 13th to the 18th of July, 2026. The company captured major industry attention with its innovative electrical safety solutions.

Throughout the six-day exhibition, Cutix Plc engaged hundreds of local and international estate developers, engineering contractors, architects, and government officials. The company’s exhibition pavilion showcased its range of fire-resistant and high-durability power cables, drawing praise from building experts across the continent.

Cutix Plc highlighted its proprietary flame-retardant insulation technology. Engineered to combat the deadly threat of building fires, Cutix cables starve active flames of fuel, forcing them to extinguish naturally within 0 to 1 seconds while limiting flame spread to 250 millimetres. The display also featured the firm’s Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) low-voltage power cables and heat-treated annealed copper conductors, designed to maintain flexibility and eliminate snapping during installation.

Visitors experienced live structural cable demonstration of Cutix Plc’s strict adherence to exact safety diameters, such as 1.78 mm for 2.5 mm² cables and 2.25 mm for 4.0 mm² cables. The brand also reinforced its retail policy of packing every coil to a guaranteed 100.5-metre standard, protecting contractors from coil length shortages and financial loss.

The Convener of the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), and CEO of Fesadeb Communications Ltd, and Barrister Festus Adebayo, commended Cutix, for being a part of the Africa International Housing Show, Africa’s leading marketplace for real estate, construction, finance, and housing professionals.

The exhibition generated sales prospects and strategic partnership inquiries among participants from West Africa. Speaking on the company’s reception at AIHS 2026, the Branding, Communication, and Marketing Manager of Cutix Plc, Anthony Ifeanyi Elikene, reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to quality:

“Cutix Plc has built on unyielding product integrity. Every product leaving our assembly floor meets and surpasses the most rigorous standards. Our mission is to secure Nigerian homes and infrastructure with quality cables. The message bringing to the Africa International Housing Show 2026 is that Cutix as a brand will continue being synonymous to quality and safety.

Founded in 1982 by Engineer Obiajulu Uzodike to prove that indigenous Nigerian firms achieve global standards, Cutix Plc continues to gather international acclaim. The company’s display at AIHS 2026 builds on a strong track record of honors, including recognition by the Financial Times as one of Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies, the Corporate Brand of the Year 2026 Award, and active certifications from the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), British Standards (BS), and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)
