The Fusengbuwa Ruling House has formally submitted the names of its eligible sons for consideration for the revered stool of the Awujale of Ijebuland.

The submission was made on Monday, January 19, 2026, to the kingmakers at the Awujale’s Palace in Ijebu-Ode.

This development followed the nomination and screening exercise conducted earlier in the month by the Fusengbuwa family to identify aspirants deemed suitable for the foremost traditional throne in Ijebuland.

With the submission concluded, the kingmakers are expected to deliberate and select a preferred candidate from the list presented.
