Three days of music, dance, talent discovery, and a ₦1 million BIGI Music prize are set to transform campus life as Soundcity OnTour arrives at FUNAAB.
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to come alive from 7 to 9 October 2026, as Bigi and Fearless Energy Drink, brands of Rite Foods Limited, bring the Soundcity OnTour experience to the campus for three days of music, entertainment, talent discovery, and youth engagement.
More than a campus concert, the FUNAAB stop will allow students to step out of the audience and into the spotlight through a packed programme of music auditions, dance competitions, games, interactive experiences and live entertainment.
The major experience will be the BIGI Music Competition, offering aspiring student artistes the opportunity to compete for a ₦1 million campus prize and put their talent before a wider audience. The Fearless Dance Competition will equally give dancers the platform to showcase their creativity, energy and originality.
Across the three days, students will experience a mix of campus activations, music and interactive activities, building up to the grand concert on 9 October, when Soundcity OnTour brings its signature blend of live entertainment and youth culture to FUNAAB.
For Biola Aransiola, Brand Manager, BIGI, the platform is about creating opportunities for young people to express themselves and take their talents further.
“Young Nigerians are full of talent, creativity and big dreams, and we want to create spaces where they can bring their creativity to life. Soundcity OnTour allows us to meet young people where they are, experience the unique energy of each campus and, importantly, create a platform where emerging talents can be seen and heard. We are excited to see what FUNAAB brings to the stage.”
The FUNAAB activation is part of the 20-campus Soundcity OnTour 2026 journey, an expansion of the platform’s debut across 10 institutions in 2023. The tour has already taken the experience to campuses including Pan-Atlantic University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Yaba College of Technology, the University of Lagos, the University of Uyo, the University of Calabar, Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Port Harcourt, Niger Delta University, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Yaba Tech, among others.
With Bigi spotlighting music and emerging talent and Fearless bringing energy to the dance floor, the FUNAAB experience is more than entertainment. It is a platform where students can compete, perform, connect, discover new possibilities, and celebrate the creativity that defines campus life.
For the students of FUNAAB, the next three days will be their moment to take centre stage.
Bigi and Fearless Energy Drink are brands of Rite Foods Limited, a proudly Nigerian food and beverage company committed to delivering quality products while creating experiences that celebrate the energy, creativity, and aspirations of its consumers.
