There are strong indications that Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun may not officially take Folake Akindele-Coker, boss of clothing brand, Tiffany Amber as second wife any time soon.
Its an open secret that Abiodun who was a successful businessman before occupying the Ogun State government house has been neck deep in a love relationship with Folake.
The two love birds had been at it for several years now, long before Abiodun became governor.
While Folake, who is the daughter of Chief Bode Akindele, the late billionaire industrialist and the Parakoyi of Ibadanland , is very much single after her marriage to Folorunsho Coker, the Director-General of Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation ended, Abiodun is still very much married to the beautiful mother of his children and the First Lady of Ogun State, Bamidele.
Despite this, Abiodun has carried on with his love relationship with Folake with utmost discretion but to the wife’s full knowledge.
What they have together is reportedly so deep that the governor has been known to bend over backwards and break protocols for Folake’s sake.
Give to the Heyden oil boss, he love Folake to the eternity and his wish is to take her home to mama according to close sources but the governor only considering his home not to end in tatters.
it would be recalled his marriage was initially plagued over the years by suspicion, distrust and unfaithfulness at the very early stage of Abiodun’s administration.
Unable to continue to pretend that all was well, the first lady, Bamidele literally left the marriage and only returned after emissaries approached her on the need to be by the then governor-elect’s side.
After much thought, she accepted, returned and both have beef carrying on as the quintessential couple, contrary to the fact.
In fact, according to a very close family member, the Abioduns are only married on paper and do not behave at all like a typical married couple as a result of Folake.
