Nigerian actor Ali Nuhu recently voiced his concerns on his Instagram page regarding a video posted by singer Davido on Twitter. In his statement, Ali Nuhu expressed his condemnation of the video’s concept, which featured people dressed and praying like Muslims.
In Ali Nuhu’s words, he acknowledged the importance of creativity in various fields but emphasized the need to respect other people’s religions, cultures, and traditions. He stated that the video’s portrayal of Muslims was entirely unacceptable in Islam and called on Davido to remove the video and issue an apology for hurting the sentiments of the entire Muslim community. As a consequence of his concerns, Ali Nuhu mentioned that he has decided to cancel Davido.
