Super Eagles player, Kelechi Nwakali has taken to social media to celebrate his sister Ruth Nwakali on her induction into the medical laboratory science profession, according to Soccernet.ng. The Nigerian soccer player, currently competing for Portuguese team G.D Chaves, couldn’t realize his aspiration of aiding Nigeria in winning the AFCON 2023 competition in February, as he was omitted from Jose Peseiro’s ultimate squad.
On a personal note, Nwakali recently applauded his younger sister for the new professional feat she just attained. In a post he made on X, the football star shared beautiful pictures of Ruth with the caption “Proud of you my love”. Ruth Nwakali was among the graduates of the Faculty of Health Science, Imo State University who got inducted into the medical laboratory science profession in March 2024. Ruth happens to be the last child and only daughter of the Nwakali family.
Even though he couldn’t realize his aspiration of representing Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, Kelechi Nwakali persists in supporting his family and celebrating their achievements. His sister’s recent accomplishment further adds to the Nwakali family’s sense of pride and happiness. Alongside his sister’s success, Nwakali’s professional journey has involved numerous club transfers since departing from English Premier League powerhouse Arsenal in 2019. Despite encountering obstacles in his football career, Nwakali remains committed to his personal and professional development.
