Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has changed his political support groups and indeed the people of the State to play politics without bitterness and shun acts capable of over heating the polity and causing disaffection among various political parties.
The Governor stated this when he hosted Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC and his political support groups to a Ramadan Iftar at the Banquet hall of the Government House.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya who praised the citizens of the State for maintaining the peace, said the successes so far recorded by his administration will not have been possible without the peaceful co-existence being enjoyed and managed by both the government and the people.
The Governor noted that inspite of the economic downturn occasioned by the covid-19 Pandemic, his administration has been able to substantially fulfill its campaign promises without recourse to unnecessary excuses.
He observed that it is the responsibility of any responsible government to deliver on the mandate given to it by the people, saying that has been the trademark of his administration since coming into office some 3 years ago.
Governor Inuwa maintained that Gombe has blazed the trail as the number one State in the ease of doing business and that with the ongoing construction of the multi billion naira Muhammadu Buhari Industrial park, it is just a matter of time that the State will be a hub of economic prosperity and employment generation in the North East sub-region and beyond.
He said with the exponential population growth in the State, it has become incumbent on the government to initiate policies and programmes that can absorb the thousands of idle youths and channel their energies into productive ventures.
Earlier speaking, the Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC Comrade Mohammed Gana Aliyu, described the leadership disposition of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya especially, in the area of road construction in hard to reach areas as strategically phenomenal.
He explained that Gombe State is blazing the trail and setting the pace in economic development in the North East owing to its peace and tranquility.
He said IPAC stands in solidarity with the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in its determination to build an upwardly economic mobile State.
Also speaking, Malam Shehu Guya Pantami of the Inuwa Organisation Network remarked that Governor Inuwa Yahaya has surpassed the developmental expectations of the people of the State and therefore called on the citizens of Gombe State to unite and support the present administration in the State .
The Chairman of APC Social Media team, Rabiu B. Goro noted with satisfaction the support and encouragement his group receives from Governor Inuwa Yahaya since coming into office.
He commended the Governor for his incredible performance, especially in his flagship project of network eleven hundred which has since opened up hard to reach areas and boosted socio-economic activities across the State.
