According to a media post on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, by Comrade AbdulRauf Abdullahi Opeyemi, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Kabiesi Elemona of Ilemona Land, President Tinubu’s Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Col. Nuruddeen Yusuf, who also serves as the Elemona of Ilemona Kingdom, hosted the Oloffa of Offa, His Royal Majesty Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, Ajagungbade I Esuwoye II, at his Abuja residence.
The royal visit, marked by mutual respect and cordiality, strengthened the bond of friendship and brotherhood between the two ancient Yoruba kingdoms.
Both monarchs exchanged warm pleasantries and discussed matters relating to cultural preservation, community development, and peaceful coexistence among neighboring towns.
In his remarks, Oba Nuruddeen Alowonle Yusuf expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a reaffirmation of the unity and shared heritage that bind Ilemona and Offa together.
The Oloffa of Offa commended the Elemona for his dedication to peace and progress, noting that such engagements promote collective growth and understanding.
It was revealed that the meeting concluded with prayers for continued peace, prosperity, and divine guidance for both Ilemona and Offa kingdoms.
