Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed one of the things that used to confuse men about her, while also stating how her age sometimes stops men from approaching her for a relationship.
According to a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Okay Africa TV during an interview, she explained that her age used to confuse some men who usually told her that they loved her, but they would always say that she was older than them.
According to Tiwa Savage, she said, “I think a lot of people didn’t realize how old I was when I started my music career. A lot of people would always tell me that I was very young when they discovered me in a musical video, but I think they were overshadowed by my looks. There was no pressure on me, and I didn’t feel there was a need to hide my age because it wasn’t an issue for me then, but it started to become an issue when people started knowing my age and they started wondering. My age was confusing to some men who said they loved me but that I’m older than them. Even some kids are into me, but they are confused because they see me as their aunty.”
