The Chairman-Elect of Badagry Local Government, Babatunde Hunpe, has vowed to improve the lives of his constituents through various development initiatives.He made this statement while receiving his certificate of return at the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
He said his agenda includes infrastructure development, healthcare, education, youth development, and women empowerment programs.
With direct access to funds, Hon. Hunpe aims to unlock the local government’s tourism potential, leveraging its natural resources, including water, rivers, and sea.
Hunpe also noted plans to enact laws to support tourism development and environmental conservation.
He also noted that as a former legislator,he emphasized the importance of collaboration with his councillors to enact laws that benefit the community. He then appeals to his constituents to remain calm, assuring them that his administration will deliver on its campaign promises.
