There are strong indications that Peoples Democratic Party chieftain and former Lagos State governorship aspirant, Babatunde Gbadamosi may not contest for  Lagos gubernatorial election next year as result of  his present situation associated with finances.

Checks revealed that the  handsome politician who spent a fortune during the last general election in a bid to rule Lagos State, has since relocated to the  United Kingdom with his new impregnated wife to pick a new life.

Recall the PDP stalwart under his former party, ADP in 2019 governorship  election battled the ruling party, All Progressive  Congress to clinch the seat as a result of  financial backing of his  wife.

Trouble started for Babatunde when he separated from his deep pocket wife, Folashade Balogun, owner of Amen Estate, Ajah, Lagos.

Gbadamosi was said to have married the daughter  of  Olubadan  Lekan Balogun in what led to the crash of his union with Folashade following failed attempts to sue for peace.

The marriage squabbles is unconnected to infidelity and irreconcilable differences leading to the separation in 2021.

Folashade after the separation ensured that she kicked him out and paid him off as one of the executive directors.

The aim according to informed sources was to prevent Babatunde from claiming ownership of the estates.
