Following the payment of the tuition fees debts, the University has now graduated and issued certificates to all the Zamfara state students whose academics were disrupted by the Yari governmemt refusal to pay the scholarship.

Reports from the University say students who have already paid their school fees have now been compensated back by the university authorities after receiving the payment from government.

The students numbering 173 were academically disrupted by the inability of the then government to pay the tuition fees which resulted to their non participation in the one year mandatory national service scheme for four years until when the present administration of Gov Bello Matawalle came on board in 2019.

The recent payment of the tuition fees to the university has now pave way for Zamfara state students under scholarship to continue their studies in the institution.

Investigations revealed that the government is also about to pay the tuition fee debts owed to Crescent University Abeokuta, as all is set for the payment as soon as the committee set up to verify the debts submits its report.

The investigations further revealed that the government of Bello Matawalle has paid the sum of over 700, 000, 000 ( Seven hundred Million Naira) as scholarships to Zamfara state indigenes studying various courses in various institutions of higher learning both within and outside the country.
