Former Adamawa State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, joined millions around the world in celebrating International Women’s Day alongside his mother, Titi Atiku Abubakar, and his sisters, acknowledging the vital role women play in families and society.
According to a media post by the former commissioner on Sunday, 8 March 2026, he extended warm greetings to all women, praising their dedication and sacrifices in building strong families and communities.
Adamu noted that through their love, compassion, strength, patience, and kindness, women continue to nurture homes, shape communities, and inspire generations.
He described women as the true bedrock of society, recognizing the burdens they carry and the sacrifices they make while remaining resilient even during difficult moments.
