How does one master the art of wooing a woman or in today’s terms”Rizz,” in this day and time? From the old Nollywood and Hollywood movies we’ve seen and what we’ve heard from our aged parents, back in the day it didn’t really take much to get a woman swept off her feet. Matchmaking was their go-to. A family member or mutual friend just had to do the introduction and it was smooth sailing. But now,  a man has to put in his best efforts. He has to be charismatic, charming, and very intentional. Even with these qualities, there’s no guarantee that she will fall. Tough but exciting times because you have to get creative to get the woman you like.
Oftentimes on social media, there’s always one trend or tutorial or the other on how to rizz a woman up. Today’s dating scene is a competitive arena where charm, wit, and confidence are essential. These men want to impress, and the ladies want to be impressed. So if you’re looking for where to learn the art of rizz and level up your game, this is for you.
Start by watching lots of movies. Movie makers are basically dating gurus in disguise. They know the drill, and they drop premium knowledge on how to handle yourself. All you have to do is be on the lookout for those scenes where the guy is smooth as butter and take notes because you’ll pick up a thing or two. But practice afterwards. If you need a solid movie plug, check GOtv out; they have lots of movie channels, so you’ll have plenty to choose from.
Here are a few channels to look out for:
Africa Magic Family GOtv Channel 7: Africa Magic Family has a good number of dating reality shows, from Date My Family to Shoot Your Shot. It’s guaranteed that you’ll learn a few things from these shows These shows air on Saturdays and Sundays.
Africa Magic Yoruba: Want to know why Yoruba men are tagged with the term “Yoruba Demons?” Tune in to Africa Magic Yoruba GOtv channel 2 to find out. They have loads and loads of interesting movies, and who knows, you may just get one or two tricks from Femi and be on your way to becoming a certified Yoruba demon yourself.
Africa Magic Igbo: There is this notion that the only way an Igbo man knows how to show love is by lavishing money on their women. Head on to Africa Magic Igbo GOtv Channel 4 and watch Igbo men pull off moves that’ll make you question that notion.
Africa Magic Hausa: You may not have heard much about the Hausa man’s rizz, but tune in to Africa Magic Hausa GOtv Channel 3 and see why the ladies are all clamouring to be called Alhaji’s wife.
You can also check out other movie channels like Africa Magic Showcase GOtv channel 12 and Africa Magic Epic GOtv channel 6. These channels are a treasure trove of movies. There is no moment you will tune in and not be soaked in by the kind of movies that are being shown.
For an international feel, check out M Net 3 & 4 GOtv Channels 49 and 50, Movie Room GOtv Channel 51, and Movie Channel GOtv Channel 43.
Be intentional, select a day, and binge-watch the different movies on these channels. Don’t forget to take notes and practice. To subscribe, reconnect, upgrade, and clear errors on your GOtv dial, *288# or download the MyGOtv app. You can also watch your favourite shows on the go with the GOtv stream app.

Classic Car Club of Nigeria Marks 10th Anniversary with ‘Nostalgic Lagos’ at Lagos Polo Club

The Classic Car Club of Nigeria has celebrated its 10th anniversary with Nostalgic Lagos, a classic car exhibition held on October 1 at the Lagos Polo Club, Ikoyi, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s Independence Day. The event brought together classic car collectors, enthusiasts, families, friends and distinguished guests for a celebration of vintage automobiles and the memories, history and heritage associated with them. Organised around the theme of nostalgia and heritage, the event featured an impressive collection of classic automobiles, alongside a drive and showcase, fashion and style, and family-oriented activities. The celebration provided guests with an opportunity to view some of the country’s cherished vintage vehicles while connecting with the stories behind them. Speaking at the event, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, a classic car collector and one of the event’s sponsors, said the vehicles represented more than their physical and mechanical value, noting that many were connected to personal memories and significant moments in people’s lives. “For some of us, it’s nostalgic. We carry fond memories of some of those cars. Some of them took us to school, some of them were driven by our parents, some by our uncles, and some of them we owned when we started. So every car has a history and tells a story. That’s the most important thing.” Badejo-Okusanya, who described himself as a storyteller and public relations consultant, stressed the importance of preserving the history represented by the vehicles. “You must treasure heritage, treasure tradition. There can’t be a future without a history. So this is the history that we carry here.” He added that every vehicle at the exhibition had a story, pointing to his own Mercedes-Benz, which he described as “Obokun,” and recalling its significance during the period when it was introduced in Nigeria. “Every single one has a history and I can tell you the history, the story. Every single one has a story.” According to him, the appeal of classic cars extends beyond ownership, as the vehicles provide an opportunity for people to reconnect with different periods of Nigeria’s history and share experiences across generations. Dapo Otunla, Chairman and Co-founder of the Classic Car Club of Nigeria, said the Club’s activities have continued to bring together people who share a passion for classic automobiles, including enthusiasts who do not own vintage cars themselves. “It’s the kind of thing where we come together with our cars, friends and affiliates. Even people who don’t own cars join us. We just enjoy the time, admire the cars and share experiences,” Otunla said. Founded in 2016, the Classic Car Club of Nigeria has grown over the past decade into a community of more than 120 members, organising classic car drives, exhibitions and social gatherings that promote the appreciation and preservation of vintage automobiles. The anniversary celebration also highlighted the role of classic cars in preserving Nigeria’s motoring heritage. Many of the vehicles displayed at Nostalgic Lagos were once familiar sights on Nigerian roads and remain associated with different generations and periods of the country’s social history. The Club has also continued to advocate for greater recognition of classic motoring as part of Nigeria’s cultural and tourism offering, with Otunla previously calling for increased support to develop classic car exhibitions and activities across Nigeria and the wider West African region. Nostalgic Lagos was particularly significant as it coincided with Nigeria’s Independence Day, providing an opportunity for guests to reflect on the country’s journey while celebrating vehicles that have formed part of its history....
