The celebration was anchored on the bank’s five-year journey of excellence, growth, and innovation in the Nigerian payment landscape. The event kicked off with a town hall meeting where the bank’s board charged management and staff to continue striving for excellence.

In his address, Paul T Oki, Board Chairman, 9PSB reaffirmed the bank’s bold vision, applauded the resilience and dedication of its people, and emphasized the need for greater innovation, collaboration, and customer-focused growth as 9PSB enters its next chapter.

He said “Today, we stand as a testament to what determination, innovation, and unity of purpose can achieve. Let this anniversary not only remind us of how far we have come but also inspire us to aim higher—to pioneer new possibilities, transform more lives, and extend the impact of our mission. The next phase of our growth will demand even greater innovation, stronger collaboration, and a deeper focus on customer experience and financial inclusion.”

The town hall meeting set the tone for the day, which culminated in a full celebration filled with employee engagement and recognition of the bank’s milestones.

Speaking at the event, Ag. Chief Executive Officer, Osa Odiase, said the 5th anniversary celebration highlighted 9PSB’s remarkable journey of innovation, resilience, and impact in simplifying digital payments, driving financial inclusion and empowering every Nigerian.

He said, “In just five years, we have built a robust network of partners and agents across the country. We have enabled thousands of Nigerians to access essential financial services with ease. We have equally developed innovative digital payment solutions and fostered growth and profitability for our partners. As we celebrate this important milestone, we also look ahead to the future. The next chapter for 9PSB will be defined by deeper impact and greater innovation.”
