In a clear demonstration of proactive and people-oriented governance, the Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Tunbosun Haruna Aruwe, has led the on-site installation of newly provided streetlights at Anipele, Aregbe and Kuseyi streets and its surrounding areas in Mushin Local Government.
The initiative forms part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to expand access to modern lighting infrastructure, improve security, and stimulate economic activities within the community.
Personally supervising the exercise, Hon. Aruwe ensured the proper fixing and functionality of the newly installed streetlights, bringing renewed illumination to the area.
Speaking during the exercise, the Chairman emphasized that the provision of new streetlights is a strategic step toward creating a safer and more livable Mushin Local Government.
He noted that well-lit streets not only deter criminal activities but also enhance movement and support businesses operating during evening hours.
“This project reflects our commitment to delivering visible and impactful development. We are not just maintaining infrastructure; we are expanding and improving it for the benefit of our people in Mushin Local Government,” Hon. Aruwe stated.
Residents of Kuseyi expressed appreciation for the intervention, noting that the installation of new streetlights would significantly improve safety and community life.
The residents of Anipele and Aregbe commended the Executive Chairman for his good gesture and on all he has been doing across Mushin Local Government.
Hon. Aruwe further assured that the initiative would be extended to other parts of Mushin Local Government, as his administration remains focused on sustainable development, infrastructural renewal, and responsive service delivery.
He also urged residents to take ownership of public assets and protect them from vandalism.
This latest intervention underscores the Aruwe administration’s dedication to building a brighter, safer, and more prosperous Mushin Local Government for all.
