The Electioneering Campaign of Hon. Babajide Obanikoro received a huge boost a Group under the aegis of The Lagos Street Forum has donated towards his campaign.
The Group has been in existence for decades and has contributed immensely to the growth of members and residents of the community.
The forum donated a double faced campaign banner to Hon. Babajide Obanikoro,Member House of Representatives representing Eti Osa Federal Constituency.
Hon. Obanikoro while commenting on the good gesture said its a very emotional moment for him because to know where you are going, you have to always look back at where you are coming from and Lagos Street is where he is coming from and it means the bond we shared growing up still exists and nothing beats that looking back to see this, and this are people that he can’t dissapoint, and he has to make sure he pushed harder to continue making them proud.
He also used that opportunity to advise Nigerians that all voters out there to take time to listen to all issues that all political parties will be campaigning about, forget discrete and falsehood in the media, follow campaign based issues and look at all what the political parties are proposing to make our lifes better, ourselves and the next generation to come.
He then advised his supporters to remain peaceful shy away from violence, and on the day of election to come out enmass and vote All Progressives Congress from Top to the bottom.
One of the members of Lagos Street Forum Hon. Tajudeen El-Rufai while commenting on the donation said Hon. Babajide Obanikoro is brought flesh and bone of Lagos Street and he is someone that has been giving back to the Street before he became an Honourable Member, and he has served his 1st term in office and he has served well representing Eti Osa Federal Constituency in the House Representatives and as the saying goes “one good turn deserves another” he has been part of us even when he is not representing us and he deserves even more.
He then charged Lagosians to all come out enmass during the 2023 general election to re-elect all Apc Candidates, starting from the State Assembly, Federal House of Representatives, Senate,Governor and the presidency. He said the ruling party has done tremendously well in all the sectors especially Infrastructure. He then implored the electorates to go and deliver the mandate of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidency and Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the governorship and all the Apc Candidates in the General Election.
