On this historic June 12 occasion of Democracy Day, I extend my most resounding and heartfelt greetings to the residents of Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency I and all citizens of our beloved nation, Nigeria.
As today marks the legacy of Chief M.K.O Abiola and all patriots whose selfless sacrifice made representative governance a reality, I honour their courage, resilience, and ultimate price that paved the way for the democratic freedoms we enjoy today.
Democracy is not merely a system of government – it is a reflection of people’s will, rights, and responsibilities to nation-building through the strength of our institutions, shared commitment to peace, unity, progress, and good governance.
As we mark this day, I urge all Nigerians to remain committed to the ideals of democracy, tolerate each other, and peacefully coexist. Be a friend to all and an enemy to none. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous future for our constituency and for Nigeria at large
May the tenets of our democracy continue to flourish, and may we experience continued growth and prosperity.
God bless Oshodi!
God bless Lagos!!
God bless Nigeria!!!
