RKK Group Advances Towards IMS Certification, Champions Sustainable Development Goals

Today, 3rd of September, 2024 marked the continuation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) implementation and certification journey of RKK Group, a group of companies in Nigeria with key
expertise in Construction, Renewable Energy, Information Technology, Agriculture, Procurement, Real
Estate, Supply Chain Management & Logistics, Training & Consulting, Education, and Investment.

The Integrated Management System, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 would strengthen the RKK Group belief transformative power of affordable, sustainable and reliable access
to energy for Africans thereby supporting SDG 7 and SDG 8 in the promotion of decent employment in Nigeria and Africa at large
Speaking on the certification journey, Mr. Aderemi Rasheed Kilaso, the Group Chief Executive Officer said: managing our business in line with good International Industry Practices (GIIP) and international
best practices including ISO Standards has led to the innovation of iRESS solar backpack, a multifunctional backpack with foldable solar panel, Lithium phosphate battery (LifeP04), inverter system and accessories, designed to harness solar energy, provide long-lasting battery storage and make the stored energy available to cater for daily energy needs of diverse users.

He explained further that this innovative product significantly contributes to the effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting clean energy access, empowering communities, promoting quality education and fostering sustainable economic growth.
