Renowned Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has emerged from a seven-day traditional seclusion rite.
He was spotted wearing white regalia, adorned with leopard skin, as he left his family house in Ojushagbola, accompanied by his wife, Emmanuella Ropo.
This period of seclusion was in celebration of his newly conferred prestigious chieftaincy title, “Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebu,” which was bestowed upon him by the Awujale of Ijebu Land, HRM Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba Agbotewole II, in his hometown of Ijebu-Ode.
The title, previously held by the late Balogun, symbolizes the strength and honor of the Ijebu people.
KWAM 1’s receipt of this esteemed title reflects his significant contributions to enhancing the reputation of Ijebuland and the broader Yoruba community.
Prior to this latest honor, he had already been granted the title of Mayegun of Yorubaland, solidifying his status as a highly respected figure within the Yoruba community.
