The crisis rocking the Osun state chapter of the All Progressives Congress has taken another dimension as members, leaders and stakeholders kick against the nomination of Local Government caretaker nominees.

Following the announcement of the caretaker members by the speaker, Osun state house of assembly, members have been pointing accusing fingers at the leadership of the party in the state, saying those nominated are either girlfriends or members of the opposition party who just decamped to the APC after the 2018 gubernatorial election.

According to a member from Iwo through a video obtained by our correspondent, he stressed that Famodun is on the verge of destroying the party and the chances of the party in winning coming election are very slim.

“It’s so unfortunate that Mr governor and party chairman are on the verge of destroying the party in Osun. Most of the women nominated are Prince Famodun’s girlfriends and we cannot just be looking while our party moves in the direction of total failure.”

Another member also accused both the state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and Prince Famodun for conniving together to install their stooges as caretaker members.

“In Iwo local all those nominated are the stooges of Mr governor and we will not take it. We want to say it categorically that in Iwo, there’s nothing like 4+4 for Mr Oyetola.”

It will be recalled that some aggrieved members also staged a protest yesterday at the Osun state house of assembly saying they don’t want those nominated as caretaker members.
